Here are this years batch of jigs. Most of these are return proven performers. All are 1/8 or 1/16 no shoulder ball jig heads with a #4 or #6 sickle hook. Really sharp and no rust.

1 Pink with ice chenille and white body. Tail is pink with a little flash and a pair if strands of Peacock feather. This was great on deep brush and mid summer timber.
2 Pink with blue body. A little flash in the tail and a couple strands of gobler beard. This was good in the spring when I needed something different.
3 White head, white tail, with white chenille and ice body. Tail has some peacock and flash. This was a great fall timber and brushpile jig.
4 White and chartreuse. Some peacock and flash in the tail. This is one of my go to jigs.
5 Chartreuse with a bit of peacock and flash in the tail. Used this when the standard colors were not working.
6 Chartreuse and black. Black Antron Chenille body has a bit of glitter to it. Little bit of black and flash in the tail. Great springtime jig.
7 Blach and Chartreuse. Crystal ice and nylon chenille body. Little bit of flash in the tail.
8 Black. Great deep water lure.
9 This is new. I plan on using this in deep water under bridges. It's an experimental lure. 1/4 oz pony head jig. Marabou tail with black chenille body wrapped in strips of rabbit fir. Ought to really pulsate if held really still.
10 Another experiment. Black head, chateuse furry chenille. Little bit of black marabou tail with a touch of flash. Not sure how this will do, but it's good to have something completely different when the go to colors are not working. Sometimes they like something completely different.

Hadn't thought about selling them....

Maybe your dad can come help me test these out and I'd give him a handfull of what worked?

WCM used to make these for resale. Not sur if he still does.

If you REALLY want some, I'll make you a few. PM me with an offer.

Those look nice Steve. I need to put some of mine on a poster board and get some pics.

I tied my baby bluegill imitation the other day. Don't know if'n it will catch anything but sure is purty. Tri-color hair with tri accent flash, bug green, fl chartruse & orange.

When we gonna tie some more at Sonny Bryans?

Next week maybe? Better do it the next couple weeks. After that I'll be fishing if the weather is good. Wednesday might be good.

Post some pics of your jigs. I'm interested. I'm going to tie a few crazy ones in the next few days. Then I'll be prepping the crappie gear!

#6 and #8 both have crystal armtron chenille. It has some flash type flecks in it. you can see it better on #8. This is new this year, but you are right, that color combo is what I start with.

I also will pinch back the tail feathers a bit before I dunk the jig. These are all new and kind of long for what I usually fish with. I normally pinch them back to look more like #3 or 7.

Catching 25 crappie on your own hand tied jig is quite fun. Hand tied may or may not be better than store bought. But they are fun to tie and a whole lotta fun to catch fish with.
