Off topic, computer illiterate question here:

Does a website have to be running a specific type of code or something in order to use the smileys? I have tried to use some of the smileys on other sites and haven't been able to get them to work, even though the site has their own similar smileys.

For instance the Allen Online message board.

The site has to enable the use of BBCode in the posts. Some do and some dont.
