| Not a tree hugger, not even CLOSE, but I just don't approve of killing something in the name of "sport" and then tossing it aside. If are eating what you shoot, more power to you. I just don't believe a tourny would promote the eating of what you shoot (and kill) especially when you're trying to get the biggest one to win. You can say or feel the way you want, this is how I feel and what I believe and I ain't ashamed to say so.

| I didn't read about anyone tossing the fish away. I personally cut them up for bait and freeze them. I wouldn't agree with tossing them aside either. Thats not only unethical its illegal. It's as much a sport as r&r fishing. What you do with them is another subject.

Ever hear of "culling?" Or of removal of invasive species?
Gar, carp and buffalo are fast to breed and hard on game fish both in terms of habitat and predation. Most people that like to catch game fish are very happy to see a few of these rough fish removed. _________________ "I was getting too many snakes in the house, otherwise I would have stayed,"

| I've had a really terrible last 3 weeks and I apolagize for any feathers I might have ruffled. I really don't have that strong of an opinion, and I do respect the rights of others. As long as you're staying within the laws, more power to you. Again, I'm sorry, just took my anger out here instead of where it belonged.

No problem sandy if you work you cars right I may have to invite you to shoot a few tilapia with me at fairfield. Plus they are really good to eat and not nearly as hard as gar. _________________ We sleep soundly at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on our behalf.
