that's exactlly what i thought .........since the gates were closed Imagehow come there is still 1 guy ( flipper joe ) bein able to get in icon_question.gif and his van was parked at one of the picnic tables icon_question.gif

fishin1, I hope your not trying to mess up flipper joe's scene. I only hope to live as long as he has, let alone be able to get out in a tube everyday like he can!

i aint tryin to mess up his scene , i just want to be able to fish the drop off i found out there last year from the bank .

Thanks for the heads up! Looks like we need to look for a gap in the fence. I have one set of volunteers living in Avalon and they might have left the gate unlocked. We do not stop pedestrian access to to public areas in the off season but vehicular access in prohibited.

Notice to closed recreation area bank fishermen: Please pack out you trash! We do not have a dumpster contract during the Fall/Winter season. If your trash is light enough to pack in full, it should be easier to pack out empty.

We will continue to provide trash removal at all open recreation areas and boat ramps. ( ie.. Lavonia South, Lavonia, Mallard, Little Ridge, Elm Creek, Caddo, Twin Groves, Tickey Creek, Clear Lake South, Brockdale and East Fork)

bah...last year at this time I was able to use the boat ramp...at least I thought so...maybe I am wrong. I like east Fork better anyway.

you are correct wikdturk....but that was only cause the lake was 17 foot low and the old original ramps was the only ones we could use to launch.
