I noticed a good idea at a couple of the catfish tourneys, but cannot remember exactly how it was made. Maybe some here can help?
They were storing extra leaders on a 18" - 22" PVC pipe with end pieces that had holes in them for holding the hooks in one end and slits in the other end for holding the liine with the swivel underneath.
Anyone seen or have these? I have a couple of questions before buying supplies? _________________ Clean fish and feed someone for the day....teach someone to clean fish and enjoy a CAB while someone else cleans the fish!

Chase,
That looks pretty cool. Are the easy to use? What size would you get for 30" leaders? Do you roll them up with the weights on already... Or do you put your wieghts above the loop?
Thanks,
Hatz

| We put our leaders, and two beads in a baggy also, we dont put a weight because we are constantly changing sizes due to the roughness of the water, or if we are drifting we use a smaller weight.

I get the biggest one and pre-tie my leaders with a hook and swivel, it has a knob on the roll where you put the swivel then wrap it around and put the hook in the rubber. You can put any length on it. _________________ Extreme Catfish Angler (I live for the screaming clicker)

Chase, where is the rubber located? Is it the end caps or the body of the tube. _________________ Clean fish and feed someone for the day....teach someone to clean fish and enjoy a CAB while someone else cleans the fish!

And just a side note, you will probably have to order it online. The BPS in Garland doesn't stock them and the Grapevine BPS usually only has the small ones. _________________ Extreme Catfish Angler (I live for the screaming clicker)

Chase, that is what I use also for my leader storage also. I also have some with treble hooks on them. so I added flexable piece of plastic around it. And added velcro to it to keep it closed. This way, when I reach into my tackle box i don't get poked by any hooks.

We use a noodle and a rubber band. price about $1.
stick hook in top of noodle, straighten the line down to the rubber band and tuck in inder the band. The narrow ones will hold ten to 15 leaders.
when you need a new leader just pull up on th ehook and the other end slips from under the rubber band.
one noodle can be cut to make two or three of these depending on how long you want your leaders _________________ Life isn't like a box of chocolates..... more like a jar of jalapenos. What you do today, might burn you tomorrow !!
