If you have no idea who I am, you're missing nothing.
Okay, so I moved to Nashville in Sept 06 for a new job. It was close to my wife's family and blah, blah, blah. I quit in December and a contract job opened up in Dallas (I wasn't even LOOKING in Dallas), so I took it to have an income while I waited for a good opening in Nashville. I was supposed to be offered a job up there, but it kept waiting on paperwork. My wife brought the kids down during spring break and they decided they want to come back to Dallas. The job finally came through, but too late, as we were now interested in Dallas.
My daughter is in kindergarten, so we wanted her to finish up there since it was only a couple more months. The end result is that we've rented a house within walking distance from our old house. My wife INSISTED on a particular elementary school. Anyway, I'm out of town next week and driving a rental truck down the following week with the necessities (leaving most of the furniture in Nashville to "stage" the house.
So, we're back... well, soon anyway. I know, the world can now breathe easier.
As for fishing, I've been on a hiatus, wetting a line once in the last two years. I need to un-hiatus myself.
Now, here's a nice advertisement for y'all. The last few weeks, I've decided to learn to play Texas Hold 'Em. I've spent every freaking night at one or more venues playing FREE poker. No betting of money allowed, but some of the tourneys pay for first place (only). The site is ahlpoker.com and they operate mostly in Plano and Richardson. Warning: Richardson venues are smoking, Plano are non-smoking, though some have outdoor tables too and we break once/hour. For those who don't smoke, Plano is the place to go.
One of the venues is Berry Hill Baja something or nother at the corner of Frankfort and Preston (or Coit, I forget). The food there is very good and most imporantly, their salsa is the best I've had in Dallas. If you find better salsa somewhere else, please tell me.

Glad your back Snowflake Hope it works out.
I like playing Hold 'em but I'm not very good. Paul plays a lot but the boys he plays with take advantage of me and scared money is lost money \ _________________ Jerry
