I was in a cove off Brockdale this evening, and could have sworn I saw a beaver! I had no idea there were beavers at Lake Lavon. Was I dreaming? I only got a glimpse. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Loch Ness!

| It could have been a beaver. We have them at Town Lake here in McKinney and they are ruining my friends pond north of McKinney. There are more of them out there than people realize. The city had to put chain link fence around the trunks of some of the trees to keep them from chewing them down.

| About three weeks ago there was a dead one on HWY78 just east of the bridge. Saw it at 11pm, around 9am there was a guy picking it up already...probably a taxidermist.

Rehabbers will pick them up too if it's a species they handle.

Saw this one last week... came across a den with about 5 huge beavers
They all bailed into the water when they saw us coming except this one that was too slow to make it out so he just sat there while we took pictures.
