That Pro Cat 240 is pretty sweet! Any clue what a boat like that costs? Love to have one decked out w/ that 60 gallon live well.

Well John you are looking at around 32-33k maybe a little more. The 24 foot models are quite heavy and are gonna take a 200 to 250 hp engine which really ramps up the cost. If you stay with the 20 foot you can get by with 115 hp or 150 hp max. The 20 footer with 150 hp will do over 50 mph. Way mo faster than I need or want! But that extra 50 to 100 HP for the 24 footer cost ya plenty more. Not that much difference in boat costs, its the engine.

You can get the 20 footer with a 60 gallon livewell. All ya do is get a bigger cast platform in the back and then equip with floatation pads that will still let ya go shallow and get on plane faster with the smaller engine. Much cheaper to add the pads than extra horsepower.

I found a new 2006 cat daddy 24 footer for 26K but it is in Wisconsin. New boat never been sold, just an 06 model. Purty tempting but I don't want a 24 footer.

The BOC has teamed up with Seaark and will announce a BOC version catfish rig in September. They are not discussing options yet but I bet it ain't much different than whut I been tossing around.

Lordy the 20 footer is rated for like 1200 pounds of flesh carrying capacity so that be four of me in the boat. Don't think we would ever overload the thing!

Only problem with Seaark is they be mainly on the east coast and up north. Closest dealer in Texas is in Waco. The boats are built like tanks and are 1/8 inch aluminum hulls with a 3/8 inch aluminum keel. Can you say STUMP BUSTER! They make em with controls for ETEC, Yamaha, Mercury, Honda & Suzuki so ya can choose yer poison on engines mfg.

I got a quote from this guy last year on a few sea ark boats......like I said it was last year though.

River Cat with painted tandem trailer side or center console
Honda 90 $19800.00
Honda 115 $21300.00
Suzuki 90 $19180.00
Suzuki 115 $19880.00

Vee Cat with painted tandem trailer side or center console
Honda 90 $22310.00
Honda 115 $23750.00
Suzuki 90 $21580.00
Suzuki 115 $22280.00

These quote do not include taxes and registration you can get a good guesstamet for thses fees by adding 10% to the quotes.

I have included in the quotes the average freight charges with todays fuel surcharge that the Freight companies have been charging so we should be pretty close

Please let me know if you have any questions delivery time is about 3 weeks

What I like about the pro cat 240 is that it's a w/t full windshield and I may be wrong but I only saw s/c and c/c models in the rivercat and other cat models. Do any others come with full windshield? This feature sure is nice when it's raining or less than 50 degrees!

I think you can add either fiberglass or aluminum consoles if'n ya want. Could have a double console but takes up a bunch of room. If you had a double console, you most likely would want the 24 footer.

Chris those prices look about right for the lower hp motors. have to add a couple $k for a 150 hp. I need to check with that dealer. I've already asked for a quote from the Waco dealer.

Whut be ya'lls opinion on a Suzuki engine. My brother had one that ran & ran & ran. Never had any [roblems with it, but, it was only a 25 hp.
