So what was the weight, & since this was a NTTC event I believe all thought it was biggest cat & since it was "honor system" & the doc was just & extra insurance to keep minds at ease, I vote that Joe has the lead with 42lb cause as long as I have known Joe & Simon I don't think they come much more honest than these two. Good job.
Course I know it will be up to the directors & the good folks of LLF _________________ Married men don't live longer, it just seems longer!

my feelings won't be hurt either way. When Simon caught the 30, I told him that I would think he had big fish locked up the way they have been biting, but then remembered that I didn't print the paperwork.
The other fish came after that. I promise they were caught thursday night and into Friday morning, but we didn't measure them either. The 30 pounder was probably as long as the 42. However, the 42 was beat all to heck. The tail was nearly rubbed down to nothing and so was the bottom fin. The pic doesn't show it real well. Do you think this was from spawning????? I know bass do that. _________________ Joe Simpson

as said before, we didn't have the print out. Somebody catch a fish over 26 with the appropriate doc in the pic and I retract my photo.... I am a nice guy
However, I am debating another night trip this coming Saturday and maybe a little fishing Saturday morning. Ain't decided yet. And I will take the printout this time..... _________________ Joe Simpson

A TV you said hhmmmm
Maybe I should tell them how I let you hold old gimpy for that photo !!
That fish had been thru the wars. It was beaten up pretty badly but had recovered quite well from most incidents. It's mouth was completely messed up. We were not sure it had a full bottom jaw, or if it was properly connected.
I will be happy for gimpy if he wins this prize he deserved it _________________ Life isn't like a box of chocolates..... more like a jar of jalapenos. What you do today, might burn you tomorrow !!

the fish was ugly and has had its share of trouble, but it was doing fine. pulled like freight train even with all the missing and damaged parts. simon is just jealous cause he only caught a 30
and i just noticed that you might be right about the war. i can't believe that i never saw that tattoo before now _________________ Joe Simpson

Don,
The shark weighed 150lbs. Those things pull like freight trains, I have never been so worn out from trying to get a fish in. _________________ TEAM TIGHTLINES
