Fished area Southwest of Island in the shallow cut area from about 6pm ti 9 on Friday evening. Caught many small fish in 20 ft of water under 9 inches by bouncing slab on bottom. Some fish a little larger chasing shad on top but few and far between. Finally just before dark we caught about 4 very large thick sandbass in about 30 feet of water just drifting with slabs. Anyone have luck elswhere? I need to fill my freezer with fillets.
