2008-2009 season?

Well cost will always be an issue with most everybody. Whether it be the cost of gas, motel, equipment, boat expense or whatever. Or how much vacation can ya allocate to the tourneys becomes a problem for some too! Just like any hobby, fishin be no different.

Ya just do what you can do and if'n ya have to miss some fishin tournaments, BBQ competitions, chili cookoffs or whatever, you just do what you have to do to stay within your hobby budget. It be different for everybody.

Can't wait for October to get here! Yeah Baby!

$60 Entry fee
$60 Motel
$100 Gas
$50 Misc

That's what it costs me to do these tournaments, Split with my partner of course, minus the hotel if we're fishing lavon or hubbard.. That's alot of money to me, but worth every penny since it gets me out doin what I love to do, and thats fish..

NTTC is growing, Heck we got teams coming up from the temple belton area, and even as far south as houston... If we head down another hour or so south I think it'll just make it even bigger, JMO... What everyone has said so far is dead on... Expense will keep some people from fishing everyone this year... I think it's great that we're starting earlier this year too.. I'm not sure what the reason was to start earlier, or how long the season will be, but if it's as long as last year... then I think we'll see 30+ teams at every event... We'll be done before families start taking summer vacations after school is out, and that's what hurt the turnout at some of the later tournies I'm sure... I'm sure Brent n Jered have an awesome season planned out again,,, bigger n better than last year... I just can't wait till they spill the beans on the details... Hint Hint there fellas

Also can't wait to see my friends that I haven't seen in a good while...
