Go into sandies boiling today followed them around for about hour and a half. They would boil then go under they where still all over the graph then a few minutes later they would come up again. I was all by myself could unhook a through back fast enough. Just north of the power plant at little ridge. Funny thing is the whole time they were tearing the water up i watched about three or four boats fishing they discharge for sandies with no luck guess they couldn't see the football field size boil going on. The only problem was lots of little ones on top but when bait made it through a little lower bigger fish hit. Caught probably 65 kept only 15 forgot my measuring board in the garage so had to play it safe and keep what i knew was for sure over 10 inches.

Nice mess of fish, Its a real rush when you have a school that size busting the water. That is why I have gone to jigs with the single hook to get em off and get back to the boiling water.

Good job on a great mess of fish. My question is how you are able to lay all of those fish on the kitchen cabinet? I would be skinned alive and thrown out of the house.

The sandies were popping the water this morning at Little Ridge. I had planned on drifting for cats but switched once I saw the sandies. Caught several but thru them all back. They all looked too small.

A friend of mine uses tape on his rod. It is marked every 2" from 10 to 20. He says he never has to look for something to check his fish.
