Took a guy from work out yesterday morning for a few hours. Fished north of 380. Best day of fishing in a long time. Finished with around 36 fish, took home 12 to clean, and released a 12 and 21lber. Pics will be up soon, I am at work right now, and don't have the camera. _________________ TEAM TIGHTLINES

We did okay Friday night, fished till midnight. We ended keeping 14, largest about 4. My brother had a large blue snap his line, (the leader). After that I gave him some 30 lb line to use as leaders. This was my brother and nephew first time to fish for cats in shallow water, new experience for them.
Went north of 380 on Saturday. Got a late start (noon). Caught two blues and one LMB. The largest blue got tangled up in an unmark trotline but fish eventually go untangled. This one was about 3-4 lbs. _________________ Wish I was fishing....

fishing has been good up there lately, I stay on the sister grove side. I plan on being there in the morning. Sounds like you had fun. _________________ TEAM TIGHTLINES

My wife and I just got a small boat and are going to start fishing, going out later tonight. I was thinking about going North of 380 as well.
I don't have a fish/depth finder yet or trolling motor but we are going to give it a try anyway.
What are you guys using for bait?

ok, I will go early to toss my net.
My plan is go to about 3-4 ft of water and anchor and see what happens.
Wife like using worms, I like using live minnows/shad/prech.

I have just a little boat and no fancy stuff and manage to catch a fish or two. Throw for bait and you're halfway home. Be sure and post your results. _________________ "I was getting too many snakes in the house, otherwise I would have stayed,"

Cheapersleeper, how are you feeling after your surgury. Do you how long you will be away from fishing? Have quick recovery.... _________________ Wish I was fishing....

Thanks dodgeman, doing well. Not having much trouble. The complication is that they are pretty clear about not lifting for a while... _________________ "I was getting too many snakes in the house, otherwise I would have stayed,"

Sounds like it's time to search out some new territory. I still haven't been North of the highway in the summer. Thanks for the info guys! _________________ Life is short- fish hard.

I've got a couple place that are still producing. I've been wanting to try it in the Tickey Creek(?) arm, just haven't made it there. Haven't see anyone fishing up there yet. _________________ Wish I was fishing....
