I used to always put in at brockdale but my new favorite spot is East Fork. $3 to put in and the east ramp is protected in a cove. My prop hit the ramp a few times at brockdale so I've decided the dock and protection is worth the money.

I've used the South lavonia ramp quite a bit also. It's an easy launch with the southern winds. Had a ramp the last time I was there.

Thanks. I will try it some time. I am in a putt putt boat so I like to put in close to where I want to fish. More TOW and I will probably branch out some.

mtrost,

If you are paying 3 dollars for every launch, you should look at buying the yearly pass. It is 30 bucks and good at any COE park, not just EF.

I noticed the gate at Caddo was open this afternoon after being closed the past week.

I went to Caddo this afternoon and caught shad on the ramp. It is open again. I was told it was closed last week due to the security person that lives on site was on vacation for a week. And if anyone is curious the courtesy ramp has about 2 ot 3 more feet to go before it is completely out of the water. Probably couldn't get a boat up to it now unless you have a jon boat.
