| Ok, I see all the heavy duty rods and such that everyone gets. Notmally there is no such thing as overkill.... BUT... I have never seen a saltwater style double roller guided rods. Are they too expensive or just plain overkill?

| I use the Eagle Claw "Cat Claw" rods. 20 bucks at Academy. Just trim the end cap ridge and they work fine in the standard bee raedy holders.

| I do the same as DavidP. I also trim the trigger and use for spinning reels. Braid will fly through those 8 eyelets. I think its 8, maybe 7, anyway I like 'em.
