| Casting nets at the Rowlett Creek could be a little tricky.

| not tricky at all, i know the creek very well and i wade there often. The place im taking about has nothing to get your net caught on and the water is about 1-3ft deep. As long as you release the bass your fine.

Hey guys, heres another report, last night while i was at the lavon DAM, i saw tons of Shad being cast netted around the Pillars.
Location The Rapids at the Rowlett creek:
Go to the firewheel bridge, park your car and walk towards the creek. hang a right and go down under the bridge. Walk about 50 yards and then look down at the banks. your looking for they shallow water with high current running through. Just after the current where it gets a little deeping, you will see Shads jumping everywhere spawning. huge 1 ft shads (gizzard) and youll see schools of shad under the water with polarized glasses.

| Oh, also, since the rain hit a couple days ago, the creek's water level has risen and water is probably mirky at this time. i dont knwo if youll catch them now but i wouldnt recommend going without cleets. Muddy steep banks are not your freinds.
