The classic has come an gone, and Mickey n Steve proved again why they are the team to beat, with another awesome showing at the classic. Great Job guys! Congrats to all the other top finishers as well. This tournament was awesome and everyone went home with something, and that's what makes it awesome. The gatherings were top notch as well, lots of good company, and great food as usual.

On a side note, I just wanna say that if you didn't fish this tournament, you missed one heck of a tourney. This was the most organized, professionally ran, family oriented tournament I have ever fished, and that's a testament to the two guys, and their support staff that run it. Brent n Jered, you guys rock, and run IMO the BEST tournament trail around.

Thanks again to all the guys that helped make the presentation to Brent n Jered at the weigh in on sunday possible.

Kudos to Brent, Jered, and all who had a hand in contibuting to these torrneys and making this trail a blast to fish. We enjoyed competing against ALL the tremendous anglers who fished these tourneys and continue to learn and make new friends at each and every one. Also, hat's off again to Steve and Mickey for an awesome season and continuing to set the bar. You guys are great sportsmen and a blast to fish against. I hope we see more of you guys get involved next year and hopefully we can grow NTTC into the premier cat circuit around.

Does this mean you're gonna come out and play at the tournies now? It's time to join in. They're a blast.

Next year will only get better! I think there was a total of about 68 different teams that fished the tournaments this year with several folks who indicated they may jump in next year. Be nice to get 80 - 100 different teams competing next year.

Me thinks this goal will not be too difficult of a challenge to meet considering how well the tournaments have been operated! A lot of start-up stuff was done this year that should not be necessary next year. Just got a great foundation in place to grow a class act organization promoting trophy catfishing!

If'n ya can't tell already, I be real excited bout next year!!!

All the talk about next year icon_eek.gif

I still haven't recovered from this weekend icon_biggrin.gif I think Brent and Jered are planning some non-season fun tournies, or at least were thinking about it.

Ed and I were talking and are pretty sure that we are taking the next 2 - 3 months off from fishing. I am guessing we will make a couple of trips cause I don't know if we could stay off the water that long.
