| Forget that bass stuff, Go get a cast net, get some shad and head shallow for cats. IMHO. Never have had much luck for bass on Lavon.

Only LMB I caught out of Lavon was a biggun', but I caught it on shad fishing for cats. I think most of them are prey for the big kitties in Lavon. What lure to use always depends on where you're fishing and the weather at that moment. I would guess Rat-L-Traps would work great to find fish, and you're bound to hook up with some sand bass action during the search- bonus fish! _________________ Life is short- fish hard.

It's windy even in the coves. I caught 6 this AM all on t-rigged plastics. Would have had way more but it was impossible to have a tight line. I'd try and set the hook with too much slack and missed a bunch.
Good Luck.
