Has anyone used one of the rubber dip nets? It seems like they would not be as good at the string ones. Opinions...

rubber net is all i use...but i'm mainly a striper guy and it's perfect for that...however, i've never had a problem on big cats...never lost one that was in the net...also in my experience, the fish do not get nearly as hung up as the other nets...imho...good luck

Great as long as you can get a REALLY big and deep one. I have had fish bounce out of the little ones. The best net I know of if you are using treble hooks since they don't get all twisted and you can pull the hook back through the net without cutting.

I will not use a string net again. I will not use a manuel filet knife again. I will not use a string net again. I will not use a manuel filet knife again.
Second verse same as the first.
