All,

I have checked the forecast and it looks pretty wild over that way on Friday and Saturday. It might not rain at all, but then it migh get hairy. I as many others, do not want to be on a strange lake if bad weather was to roll in.

The Lavon area forecast doesn't have near the chance of storms, but we have the advantage of more ramps and knowing the lake a whole lot better.

My proposal would be to keep this going and just hit Lavon for the safety factor. There was an issue with the number of folks that wanted to go versus boats.

We need to pick a ramp to launch from if you want to hang out a minute or 2 before we start fishing or see if we can all get bait.

Need to see who is still interested in this and how many boats we can get for people.

i ain't saying cooper is out, but I don't know that we have enough boats for people. More boats seem to be willing to go to lavon and then everyone could fish without being cramped.

Joe is this planned for this weekend? If so, what night or nights are you planning?

Sooooo ,what are trying to say LOL. No seriously im in either way if I have a seat.If you do it on Cooper I can use my boat but wanted to hook up with you guys to pick up tips.I may have a hard time making the Lavon trip without bringing my friend because his truck is much more dependable, but that would add the problem of another person without seat.

All this planning is stressing me out icon_biggrin.gif icon_lol.gif

it is this Friday night. Fish through Saturday morning and then just meet back up to discuss what happenned. I was thinking if we fished all night then we might stick around and see what the morning bite was like. I am guessing fishing from about 7 PM to 8 AM.

we really need boat counts and people counts to determine what we could do. I ain't running nothing, just threw this out for something fun.

Drawout, I would think we would have room if we fish Lavon.

If you can fish lavon and have open seats, then chime in. We can all go to the same general areas, cause this will be for fun as much as it is fishing. Your chance to get in a boat with someone and either see how they are rigged and just get to know people.

If there is a strong enough push for Cooper then we could try it, but I think folks would get left out.

This Friday sounds good. I have had my boat in dry dock this week, doing some upgrading to it. I had planned on having it ready by tonight though.

Are you planning on Highland or trying another area this weekend? I may have one seat available, waiting to hear from someone. I can fish 3, but for an all nighter it would be crowded.

I can't fish this, but I'll go out today and tomorrow and catch all the bait I can and give it you guys. Since I've been out of touch the last few months, it's the least I can do. Been catching gizzards and huge threadfin the last few weeks, along with hookers. Regardless of what lake, I can hook up with you tomorrow afternoon and give you what I got. I'll keep it nice and iced down like normal, but will stuff the bags and you guys can break down depending on how many show.

Scott???

The MasterBaiter returns!

I am trying to get off work tomorrow to wrap up my boat repairs and just because I don't want to work. Maybe I can meet you at the marina to pick it up.

I'm still interested. Since I wasn't planning on being on Lavon, I took my prop in for repairs. I don't know if my prop will be ready by tomorrow or not.

I will most likely head down to EF tonight and try to catch bait.

Just let me know, I've noticed your boat missing the past few days. The shad are thick, and I mean thick, in the slips!!

Have you been catching them in the mornings or evenings? I have not thrown down there for about two weeks or so.

If it is Lavon, we might make it.

IF it's gonna be Lavon I may make it for a little while, don't think I can stay all night. I have to be on the road to San Saba by 7-7:30 Saturday morning and need a little sleep..... I'm not a 100% positive.....

Chase, maybe you can just "loan" your new boat out for the night. We could probably fish 20 or 30 people in it.
