Launched early at Brockdale for shad. Trailered to Bratonia, learned why no one uses that ramp now. We ended up with 11, largest 18lbs, also a 10 and a couple of 5 or 6's. Fightin' Chance lost 2 good fish on trees, one maybe 20+.

Chrsi,
Were you just south of us?

David,
I'm sure you know that ramp is almost too shallow to launch right now. then ther's the shallow bar you have to cross. it was dicey. Bigger boat would not have made it.

We didn't go much further north, maybe 50 yards. We caught most of our fish at the first spot, just east of the levee (or tank dam, or whatever it is) and just north of the spillway. We caught a couple on top of the levee and a couple in the ditch on the other side of it. We stopped jsut east of the levee because we couldn't get over it at that location. We ahd to use our poles to back off it. When the boat floated again, we were tired so we decided to fish.
