I saw a link on the Ray Hubbard forum for these reels. HAs anyone here ever tried one? They look nice and the price is right.

Lots of folks use Doug's reels and usually mounted on one of his fine rods too!

I fished with Muskyman today. He has a couple of the rods. I am definetely gonna get a couple soon. I liked what I saw.

got nine of them ... the older and the newer models. Set the hook and crank in the fish and I have not been able to tear one up ... my kind of reel.

Yeah,I dont think you can beat those rods at ANY price...& You couldnt match the reels at any where close to their price...I just wish they made a lefty model [hint,hint]
