I heard about this on Glenn Beck (I think) then I read about it on Fox news. Here's the title of the artlicle.

"AIG Draws Fire for Executives' $440,000 Post-Bailout Retreat at Posh California Resort"

$85 billion to bail them out and then they do this.......

As horrible as it may sound, I think our country could stand to endure another great depression. Nothing like a good kick in the jimmy to get people to get their heads screwed back on straight. Let some of the so-called "financial wizards" go bankrupt and pull a swan dive out of a high rise to help clean out the gene pool. I look back at at my grandfather's generation and realize how strong these people were to deal with what they had to go thru. One of the best generations ever, if you ask me. I agree with what someone on another post said about people spending more than they earn, and thinking nothing of it. Everyone living beyond their means. I believe we, as a nation, have gotten too soft, and a good reality check may be just what we need to make our counrty strong again....Then again I could just be absolutely crazy and off my rocker. icon_eek.gif icon_biggrin.gif

It was also a generation where a handshake and a person's word was as good as a contract.
