I'm looking to buy some special chenille from
Wapsi Fly, Inc.

But they won't sell to individuals. They will only sell to folks with a license. Figure there might be couple here. Minimum order quantity is $200, but I think DavidP and I might be able to cover that.

Looking to buy about 8 skeins, which is 72 yards..... So there will be some selling here and on ebay.

Looking to buy Crystal Antron Chenille in black, pink, white, chartreuse in two sizes each.

Man those are some nice baits!

Yeah all this time I thought Danville made that crystal antron chenille to find out last Friday that Wapsi made it. Contacted Wapsi and they only sell wholesale to licensed store front businesses. Bummer.

I would be interested in talking to you (r&B Custom tackle) on getting some antron chenille too. I like the bug green, pink, black, chartruse, red, and a couple other colors. I would like blue but can't find the product in that color.

Guess who told me Wapsi made the chenille? DANVILLE did! Along with a nice package of samples and some purchasing suggestions. They have a $500 minimum for wholesale but will retail at 30% over wholesale until you have eventually purchased $500 of products. Once you have made a cumulative $500 purchase, you can purchase at wholesale. Heck, even the wholesale marked up 30% is way cheaper than anything I have found.

It be time for a jig tying get together again. Shoulder has got healed enuf I can actually tie a jig now. I need to take some pics as I tied some nice multi-color jigs. Probably won't catch a thing but they shore is purty! hehehe

David: Bryon sent me a PM. He is placing an order this week. I sent 4 samples to "Dot" at wapsi. Their "Wooly Booger" chenille is identical to the chrystal antron and that is where Barlows get's theirs. Dot has my samples. We should give Bryon samples of the color and size and have him place an order.

These are ordered by teh skein. Skeins are 72 YARDS! That's a lot! But i'm in if you want to place an order. That antron is good stuff. Hope it catches fish! icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the responses guys i appreciate it, and yes everything in the pictures is hand made by me even most of my molds are custom made by me in my little redneck home machine shop lol. And i might have to steal an idea i have seen on here and start offering tackle drop off on the lake if enough people are interested. And as far as Danville and wapsi go i have an account with both companies and also a few companies over seas who i get some very cool chenille from (glow in the dark, crystal and so forth) so if we ever have a jig tying session il bring the catalogs and have no problems placing a order for the forum. You should really try a hand tied glow in the dark jig at night they are great
