| The big cats should be moving shallow so you may be seeing them as well when you get into the skinny water.

Thanx, I leave the big cats alone with the bow. But one for the fryer will not make it far. You ever bowfish around this time of year. Do you know anyone who eats or uses carp or buffalo? _________________ We sleep soundly at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on our behalf.

You can use the buffalo for bait when you can't get shad....very tough and stays on the hook well. Cut it in strips. _________________ "You gotta set the hook"

| If you find the rough fish in the shallow still shoot em! There are plenty of cat fishermen on the site that would love to have some buffalo. I generally dont see them once the water starts to cool off.

I saw several large buffalo last night but did not hit any. I took 4 carp, 2 gar, and 2 cats. I saw one blue about 10lbs but missed, and one flathead in mouth of the creek almost make me jump out of my boat when he exploded to leave the circle of my lights. If I shoot any extra buffalo I'll freeze them and give whatever i'm not using to other catters. _________________ We sleep soundly at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on our behalf.
