OK I done checked all the reports for what is considered North Texas Lakes by TP&W. Checked the stockin reports and fish quality reports along with current records.
Lakes that could be considered are, Belton, Benbrook, Richland Chambers, Texoma, Eagle Mtn., Whitney & Fairfield. Now if'n you want a lake where that current lake record would just about be quaranteed to be broken, then consider Limestone.
I think Texoma needs to be added for sure & possibly Whitney.

All I hope is that grapevine is not in the mix.. I like the idea of lavon, and BigT in the winter months.. Should make for some awesome stringers... Would also like to see Richland Chambers in the mix again.. early spring maybe... _________________ BigBrad

you know lavon and tawakoni are gonna be there and during the winter months. I think Cooper earned itself a spot. I agree that Richland Chambers has to come back. I missed not fishing there last season.
I am game for Texoma as I have never fished for cats there. _________________ Joe Simpson

What? No mention of Joe Pool? I would be courious to see what would come out of that lake when you put the NTTC's out there for a day. _________________ Bobby Kubin

I'm still thinking on cooper... I don't think it will produce the 200lb stringer that some think, but that's JMO.. I think the classic this year should be a two day tourney on fork J/K.. There are some big blues in chambers, might be interesting to fish that one during the big blue season.. That and I just like that lake for some reason... Never fared well there on a tourney, but It's a nice lake... Good place for a big gathering.... Look for a few gathering this year to have some Big Country BBQ. _________________ BigBrad

I also agree with texoma being thrown in there, along with whitney, or maybe even waco.. Who says we can't branch out further south, and fish a lake or two closer to our bretheren Team M&M? _________________ BigBrad
