Mathew from "www.jigumjigs.com" wants to join us. He sells hand tied jigs over on TFF.
July 14th at 6:30 to whenever. I'll bring my melting pot and go over how I do oversized jigs.... 1/8 oz on a #6 hook.
I will also show the chenille I use to make the "pink and white crappie slapper".
Later on in August (when it get's REALLY hot), we'll do one at Barlow's-indoors, on a Saturday.

Near Coit and Campbell in Richardson.
It will be at Sony Bryan's BBQ located on the SE corner of Mimosa and Campbell in Richardson. Mimosa is a block east of Coit.
We'll probably be on the patio unless it's too hot, then we'll pull some tables together inside. They don't mind. _________________ You think THAT'S hard, try naming two cities in New Hampshire!

Mathew can't make it so I'm going to cancel the get together. We'll do it later this summer.
Mathew had a lot of orders to fill.... _________________ You think THAT'S hard, try naming two cities in New Hampshire!

Summer's running out. Let's try to plan a tie and fish session. I would try to head this up, but I live out in the boon docks and amnot really familiar with where everybody else lives. I'd love to come though and learn new jig tying ideas and share a few secrets of the trade that I have come up with. _________________ Nate

I'm not Steve but here are the basic's.
Vise, Bobbin, Thread, Jig Heads (Collerless are the best for tying jigs and I advise pouring your own), chennile, feathers, powder coat (paint) and alcohol burner, and head cement. I think that I listed the basics for tying jigs, but your supply will increase as you get more comfortable. Look at Barlow's in Richardson. They have everything that the jig tyer needs (even more than Bass Pro) _________________ Nate

Nate: What day is good for you this week or next? I'm thinking Wednesday of next week. The 13th I think?
Time to tie some jigs for the fall. _________________ You think THAT'S hard, try naming two cities in New Hampshire!

Let's go for Wednesday, 9/21, from 7-9pm. Sonny Bryan's BBQ in Richardson. We'll be on the patio unless it's too hot.

Everyone is invited. Mathew Carrol (jigem jigs) can't make it. He's still nursing his back. _________________ You think THAT'S hard, try naming two cities in New Hampshire!
