Guys as stated in another post I know where you all can get good gizzards for the tourny its no big secret ! I sent everyone who asked a pm telling them that at the gathering we could drive over to the Spillway and i know where to catch them pretty quick.I was not trying to hide it from everone else and if it appeared that way im sorry.If ANYONE wants bait for the tourny or whatever else just show up at the gathering and we will all go to the spillway lets hope its still running.

We picked up plenty of bait under 380 bridges by twingroves yesterday morning.Lotsa hookers with several big ones mixed in too.

I'm on for Hubbard. I may not be able to get out to the creek. I dont know. I will pay someone for a few bags of fresh if they have it on Saturday morning. If I dont hear of anything by Friday evening I will head to the creek.

Yes I am excited becuase I consider all you guys very skilled at finding and catching the fish,I hope that im able to pick you alls brains after the tourny I am not fishing it im just watching from sideline this time .

You dont understand how much of a noob me and my partner are lol,we fish with rod and reel and 25 jugs for six hours just to catch 5 or 6 fish.We are just learning how to actually target the fish but maybe next year we will start trying some of the tournies.

i think this is a GOLDEN ooportunity for you to test drive a tournament. Most folks think they can't do it, but it is a heck of a lot fo fun and there is no real pressure. We have gone to the weigh in with 2 pounds up to 206. Got embarrased this year on our local lake while everyone and their brother walked up with good fish. It is fishing!

I think you are missing out, but hopefully you get what you need to build your confidence. How far away are you from Lavon?

Did you come and fish with Tex a while back? You will figure this out. Just a little attention to details and you can get all over them. Some lakes just aren't as good as others. We are lucky enough here to have Lavon, Tawakoni, Cedar Creek, and Richland Chambers within a fair drive. I guess Hubbard is OK too. Dave will show up here soon enough...

Yes we fished with Tex in jan I think and we thought we had drifting figured out but Cooper is snag zone !
