Seems no matter how hard I try lately I am getting everything but bass. The pond is loaded with little one inch shad right now and I think the bass are just full.
I got this guy on a black and blue spinnerbait. He ran like crazy too. I think he thought he was a bass.

| Never seen anyone catch a Channel on a lure. Lots of Flatheads, but never a Channel.

| I've caught some on lizards. I've also caught crappie on an 6" lizard.

I have caught a channel on a crank bait. Never on top, but that would make me laugh.

I remember one of the catfish tournies on Lavon when a guy who was just fishing had caught a 20+lb blue cat on a crappie jig.
said it took quite some time to get in to the bank because of the light gear he was using.

I went fishing last night across the street from the pirate ships on Angel Pkwy and my buddy caught a cat on a Pop R on top. I had just posted that I had not caught a kitty on top, but now I have seen it happen
