I have a Jon boat and on the front I have directly centered a trolling motor. Its a small Jon boat(12' and 32" wide) and I want to mount to bow light in accordance with texas law and such. I planned one one a pole so the TM bracket doesnt get in the way of visability. I have the stern light mounted to the back and I know its acceptable but is it ok for the front to be off center? Any recommendations for the front? I want something perminantly mounted that I can control with the switches and relays I have.

I think you will be okay anywhere to the front with the lights as long as they can be seen. You can put them on the forward side and still be legal.

You may have a single light. That will not work on the side will it? icon_confused.gif icon_confused.gif icon_confused.gif

anywhere in the bow area is fine as long as it can be seen over your T.M. some center consoles have the lites on each side of the console.
