Darn WIND!

I was thinking this morning about trying something I haven't tried in a long time on Lavon.
Got off work around 2pm and it was nice. Hooked up the boat and just as I pulled up to the ramp the wind started blowing out of the East

Made my way to where I wanted to start and it was rough! Fished a ways and started catching fish. I fished further up and I couldn't get a bite.
Went back to the where I started and fished the other direction until I could no longer get bit.
Made my way back out and couldn't get bit.
The fish were there but he only problem was the wind was brutal!

Had 7 good fish and several small fish in less than two hours. I didn't fish much of the good stuff or I think I could have caught several more.

It's hard to fish timber when it is white capping!

So what size jig were you using, 2oz?

i was usin a 3 oz no roll ...... oh damit , thats the other forum
