Ease up on the Politics talk!

We all have our opinions and some are more passionate then others. The election is only going to get worse and if we continue the discussions on here, they are only going to cause ill will between forum members. I would ask everyone to "temper action with wisdom". I learned that phrase in college many years ago and it has stuck with me throughout my life. Call me what you want, but I joined this forum to get to know folks with common interests, not necessarily common political views. Each to their own on their political views. I'll fish with a Democrat, and Republican, or an Indenpendent. I read this forum for the entertainment and lately it has become a hostile takeover of political opinion. I fish for the "down time" from everyday life. I wish this forum would get back to that. Maybe it will after Nov. 4th...

I can't agree more. Everyone has their own opinions and they are welcome to them. Just because someones views are different from your own doesn't give you the right to personally attack them.

well, i was crafting a similar request. fishing is my escapr from everythign else and this was starting to be too much. There are other places to talk politics on that level. Think BIG catfish...or crappie if you must.

Cause I suck at it. I find debating a little fun here and there but I dont take any of it serious. I am here to meet new friends, help if I can, and to become a better fisherman and person.
