Took the family for a boat ride on Saturday evening and just happenned to find some shad so we could toss out a few poles. Didn't get setup ojn a spot quite like I would like. Fished over at 78 in the Lakeland cove - good lookin spot. Here is a pic that we took, but everyone we had the kids closed their eyes. _________________ Joe Simpson

let me get this straight... you took the fam out on a "boat ride" then you just happened to catch some shad, then you accidentally took a wrong turn and ended up in the shallows so while you were there,,,,, fish on...
I don't think she is going to buy the boat ride thing forever though
good looking boy you are blessed with Joe

Hey, I knows where that spot be situated! Now moma is gonna soon figure out the "boatride" routine fairly quickly as long as 20 rod & reels and 1/2 dozen cast nets be in the boat!!!

the wife actually didn't seem to fond of the fishing again, but I can't get her fishing unless it is summer and that is when the cats get tougher. I MAY have to search out some sandbass for the family outings and save the serious stuff for when they ain't around. _________________ Joe Simpson
