Rough Fish Forum - gar

hey guys I've been dong good on the cats with rod and reel but have not seen the gar out like they are most times this time of year. I shot on yesterday around 15lps short nose gar that is. Ya'll seen any running the shallows in any great numbers?

The Cove behind the marina. I have seen quite a few of needle nose gar cruising around up in the shallows in parts of the cove. Especially the little neck on the southwest side of the boat slips.

Country.....take your little jon up in the creek by brockdale with the lights running and then post how you did. Come nighttime that thing is full of gar.

Tonk hope the ankle is ok. I'll try it out but the skiff is all I have set up for bowfishing. I'm trying to get a tourny set up if your interested.
