My heart was filled with sorrow this morning when I got up at 6 and saw the storm. I was very crabby and my wife left without a kiss. I have since been given a little hope.
I have a couple questions though. How is the bite just after a rainstorm? Is bait harder to come by? and - If another storm comes rollin in, how important is it to get my arse off of the water?
All advice will be much appreciated. If you think I am crazy, feel free to let me know, but I was skunked last weekend and I am leaving for Austin in the morning. I would rather fish in a hail storm today than go another week without catching a fish.

Looks like storms all weekend... and deep mud for all us bank fishermen...

Cursed myself on Friday by bragging about getting out of the office at 3. I did not leave til around 4:45. I should have known better. Fished off of Brockdale. It was real slow and baut was not too easy to come by. Ended up with 1 keeper. Just under 7 lbs. It was a great night to be floating out on the water though. The moon was awesoem
