I reckon I have not seen a better product than the bee ready holders, but I just figured out today that the equipment is good for other stuff too. I always wondered how to mount my cutting board and tonight I finally figured it out. Someone else may have done this so I ain't saying i am first, but by golly i think it is great.
matched with the Lund mount on the boat, I can locate it absolutely anywhere. i have seen similar products, but this is fairly simple.
Only problem is that now I need another rod holder setup. I be calling ya soon Ed! And I got an idea while out with Simon for my dip net. _________________ Joe Simpson

| Alrighty Joe, it be time to fess up. Whut be them itty bitty holes on the square tubing. Be they used for height adjusting? Inquiring minds need to be made aware of such significant factoids!

| That is a great idea!!! I am going to get me a bee ready mount and fix me up one of them cuttin' thingies. My wife hates the fact that I cut on the top of the cooler. I nominate this as the TIP O' THE MONTH !!!

yep got one on my boat. holes are contersunk so the heads are flush. have chum grinder mounted on one as well...........tons of options. dont forget the small table top grill that is mounted as well
back to that board if you put a slit in the board that knife will fit better. |
I just threw it together and had to use the hardware that I had. I would sink them when I get a new board. And I was going to cut a hole for the pliers and the knife, but just stuck in the existing hole for show
what other ideas folks. _________________ Joe Simpson

you guessed it. when you buy them, they put a pin on top and bottom to hold it in place, but I drilled holes on all of them so that the height could be adjusted for whether or not I was sitting or standing. You can also adjust for the height of the person.
I leanred a long time ago that having bee ready's will put more fish in the boat - and that's a FACT! Then I learned that the height was an added touch to quickness. _________________ Joe Simpson

i was thinking of putting a towel through the existin hole and then cutting a slot for the knife and pliers, but I may put the pliers on my net holder.
like I said, I may not have been first, but at least I shared........ _________________ Joe Simpson
