Nothing better than a little catfishing on Friday the 13th. I had three generations fishing in the boat with that afternoon. Brian won this trip in the Breast Cancer Support raffle back in April and brought his dad and grandpa along with him. The weather was a little warm, but the action was much hotter. The guys boated their 75-fish limit of channel cats in 4 hours fishing shallow water with Secret 7 dip bait by Team Catfish and punch bait.

The action Saturday morning was just as good. Matt, Jeff and his two sons joined me for a little Lake Lewisville shallow water catfish action. We back to the same spot that we left them biting at Friday evening. The guys were pulling fish in before I could get all of the rods baited and in the water. We finished the morning off with 83 keepers with one tipping the scales right at 7 lbs. All fish this morning were caught on Secret 7 dip bait by Team Catfish.

Thanks guys. The catfish bite on Lewisville continues to be oustanding. I took my dad out Saturday morning 6/21 for a little scouting trip and quickly put him on a limit of nice channel cats fishing shallow water with Secret 7 and punch bait. Here's a quick picture of Bobby Sr. and Bobby III (aka Trip)

Darien and his son Cooper joined me Sunday morning 6/22 for a little catfish action as well. They finished out the morning with 39 keepers including Cooper's first blue cat that weighed in at 5 lbs. Most of the fish were caught on Secret 7 dip bait and the rest fell for punch bait.

I took Doug, Todd and Michelle out on Saturday morning 7/12/08 for a little Lewisvile channel cat action. The bite was a little slower and the fish were a little more scattered compared to the past several trips. The group this morning finished up with 33 keepers, some dinks and a few missed fish. We caught a few on shad, but most came on Secret 7.

I spent Sunday morning 7/13/08 on the water with my daughter Abby. The intention was to just have a fun outing and spend some quality time with my daughter and do a little scouting. But as many of you know, when the fish start biting, it's time to get serious. We found a good concentration of fish and got to catching. We even had three doubles. She had no choice but to let me reel in a fish or two when she's already tied into one herself. We both had a great time and ended up with 24 keepers up to about 6 lbs in 3 hours on the water. All fish on Sunday were caught on Secret 7 dip bait by Team Catfish.

I have an opening this weekend if anyone is interested in some hot summer-time catfishing action on Lewisville.
