Hey guys, myself and flipper will be out making a bowfishing video tonight on lake lavon. I'll have a link at a later date so bits of the video can be viewed on youtube. I'll also let you know if we shoot any records and post photos later.

yeah that was me polebender. How did your night end up. I'm getting my pics together now. I shot a shad last night that was 1#. If I didn't need the pic I would have had to cut him and start catn. All in all we shot around 10 and missed at least 100 others. flipper couldn't hit a barn last night but it sure was fun.

These are the pictures from the bowfishing that Scott and I did last night. There will be a video on youtube shortly that you can find by searching Trophy Pursuit Outdoors. Hope you all enjoy.

Thanks
Richard

Since there is not a shad listed on the bowfishing records for Lavon I'm sure it's a record. I just don't know exactly how to register a record. I have the shap frozen for proof but I'm sure that will change the weight, and a video of the shot and recovery.

Hey Scott, I did pretty good on Roberts Friday night. I boated about 25 fish. Commons. Buffs and Gar. Biggest I got was about 10lbs but I saw some monesters! 40-50 lb Buffs cruising just outside of range and bolting when you get close enough to shoot. It would be a good place to video cause the water is pretty clear. Let's get together and head up there.

good job. I'm having to recover from a wreck. I had a non local person run a red light on me. I broadsided his landscape trailer. good new is he had isurance and a DL. But my shoulder was dislocated in the accident. I"m looking forward to shooting with you David. Do you think you can go this weekend?

I could go either Friday or Saturday night. Saturday would probably be better. Do you want to take my boat or yours? Let me know. My boat only has 15 hp but being unfamiliar with the water, I go slow at night anyway. The flats where I have been finding fish is only about a mile from the dock.

We had another good night at Ray Roberts. I think the grassie went 20lbs. Maybe more. We killed around 30 fish. Only shot at ones that were 8 lbs or more.

The guy holding the fish is my neighbor. The fish looks better in the pic that I took with him in it. I had him put a back up shot in the fish after I stuck it. This was his first time out and he actually shot about 10 fish! He had a blast, I think he is hooked. He'll be shopping for a bow I'm sure.
