We used to hunt @ my stepdads place in Quannah and loved it. Due to his passing 4 years ago and the great probate process I now hunt some private land in the city of wylie. Been with the same group for 3 years and they cook some mean fixing too. Heading back out tommorow evening with the kids (aka blonde retrievers)

Hey , some of them thangs were flying right at me. I didnt know if they were going to fly by or attack me. I used nessasay force to protect myself.

plus they taste good in a bacon blnket

thats cause anything wrapped in bacon tastes like bacon.

. its a bite of bird , a bite of black pepper bacon , big ole bite of jalepeno , and then the big swig of a C.A.B. ........ repeat as necessary ........ grill em , smoke em , and/or fry em.......

I like to cook my dove on a skillet for a little bit then I get jalapeno peppers and hollow them out and put the dove inside then wrap in bacon stick a toothpick thru, grill then voila some dayuum good eatin....

Well take cast iron frying pan and saute birds in canola oil & butta. Seasoned with salt, peppa & garlic. Add onions to the pan and saute till translucent. Add flour and make some gravy. All in one pan. Easy, but wait as we not finished. Now take bisquits and place on top of gravy and put in oven till bisquits be done.

Nice browned bisquits on top of the gravy and mighty fine dumplings under the gravy. Place said one pot in middle of table and beware those tryin to get more than their fair share. Use a big pan!
