Yeah bud. Went up north near the Birds and caught a 5# Cat and a Gar! Cole really liked the Gar... He keeps telling everyone we caught a Gator.

I think that I found the River mouth, but not sure. I bunch of snakes kept crossing right in front of us... With the wife on the boat that was not good... I had to turn back!

That's it. Heck, I turned back after seeing three of them together, being that I was by myself. It's really creepy back there.

Where did you get your shad at hatz? I don't go back in that river channel for that very reason. I don't do snakes! I'll be back in that area tommorw though. Got my spot plotted, and it hasn't let me down the last 3 times out.

3" Shad were all over the ramp at Brockdale, but I did not loacte the cutters. My wife and son like Highland boat ramp better! I had good luck casting at Highland in the evenings a few weeks ago.

See ya'll tommorow. I'll be a brockdale at 615 getting bait then over to highland it is. good south wind forecasted for tommorow, lets hope their on.

Ive GOT to do a quick trip tommorow. I will be at highland to catch bait at 5:45. Have to be at the horse track with faimily and friends by 1:00. You guys using your VHF radios yet,,,, mine will be on 69. cell is 972 574-5542. I may have to give my catch away if Im running late....
