Well, the first good sign I've seen this spring. Went to the slip at Anchor Bay this morning and it sounded like rain. The shad were in the cove thick. No keepers but, a bunch of small crappie, some yellows and sand bass.
I hope that as long as the shad keep working in there the crappie will follow - keepers that is.

luv dem liddle shadlies...
I only saw a few in the coves on the East side but it is nice to see them.
You're right, with the baitfish the bigguns can't be too far behind.
We caught 8... but that was four or five hours... one here... one there.
Shallow too, 2-4 ft.
Wish they would close dam soon... _________________ A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.
