Just saw on the news that a 35lb Buffalo was caught on Ray Hubbard by kid and was submitted for a World Record in that species.
Anyone else see this in the news?

| Yeah , its on the other forum in the rough fishing section I watch that section sometimes too cause they catch some biguns....... a guy named Jason's kid grabbed the pole cause they thought it was a small fish, he is like 7 years old.Caught it out of their boat slip. Pretty cool

didn't read the post, but I know of several buffalo over 70 pounds caught - were they not sibmitted as records...?

Joe the link said it was a smallfry world record. Sotra like the jr record for state.
Either way nice catch for the kid.

Jason's a good friend of mine. Can you believe he only started Rough fishing about 7 months ago. Right now he's in the middle of a 3 week fishing session with a European sports writer.

So if I get one bigger do I get a trip to Europe as well? I bet not...age discrimination sucks...hahahaha
Congrats on the fish though...thats a bigger buff than I have ever caught by a wide margin.
