Just went by walmart in Grapevine and found 2 of the Shakesphere Tidewater reels with clickers for $19 each, normally $37, I got the only ones they had. They look and feel solid. May have to check other Walmarts this weekend.

I just picked up more stuff, a lot by Mr. Crappie, and wonder if some walmarts are going to stop carrying marine and fishing stuff. I don't mean all, but this one is off Trinity mills and Bush and when I went to look at the other boat stuff..... nothing...... Not a fishing section anymore either. I know they have the FLW brand and everything else, but I wonder if these inner city stores are doing away with it.

I've heard rumors that some if not most stores are completely doing away with the Fishing section.....

That is true in some parts of the country but we are safe from that, I think it has something to do with the number of rednecks in the area.

I went to the store in Corinth and saw the sticker on the shelves for the Tidewater reels at $6.00! Sold out though. I did get an extra cast net for only $5.

There are several walmarts in this area that are doing away with the fishing section for the fall and winter, then will regain them again in the spring.. It all depends on if their sales warrant the fishing section.. Thats why your seeing some stores marking those items down and others are not.. The store I work at in plano is not..
