Fished today from 9 am - 2:30 pm int that cove north east of lavonia. Fished timber in 11-18 ft of water. Started out with jigs... black/chart, chart, and white. They only wanted the white. After about an hour and half, I switched to minnows... they liked those much better. I probably caught 20 crappie, 30 sandies, and 5 kitties. Of that, only three blues were keepers. Everything else was too short.
Am I too shallow? Maybe I need bigger bait? Anyone else having similar results? _________________ Matt
