Wisconsin Trip

My dad just drove in from Houston this evening and is spending the night before leaving tomorrow to Caroline, Wisconsin. He will be hunting at South Branch Preserve. Here is a picture of the deer he shot last year.

Those northern deer get massive. I've been to MN a few times. The whitetail racks can just get unreal.

I forgot to post a pic of the deer my dad shot this year in Wisconsin. He drove back through McKinney on October 18th on his way back home. Here are a few pics of his buck.

Was your Dad hunting during some special season? I'm going up for the general rifle season in a couple of weeks and I know that Wisconsin's rifle season is only during the week of Thanksgiving.
